Active Pathways Braved The Shave

RMN Janet Redding and Service user Robert Scott bravely shed their locks for Macmillan this week raising over £400! We just wanted to say a huge thank you for their courage and support to this worthy cause.

Janet Redding, RMN on Brookhaven shared, "Macmillan is a charity close to my heart, as an organisation we encourage our service users to get involved in charities and fundraising as a way of supporting our service users to increase their self-esteem, help with giving them a role in society which charity work can do." I was impressed with their response and how generous everyone has been. I particularly want to thank my shaving buddy Robert for helping to raise over £400.

Ready Steady Bake …..

Our Head Chef, Sam Dupuis organised a cake and coffee afternoon in aid of Macmillan cancer support.   Both service users and staff got into the spirit of the fundraiser, even practising weeks in advance!   The afternoon was a great success and we're delighted to present Macmillan with over £150.   There's no doubt there will be future bake offs after the success of this recent afternoon
